Ein Schubser auf der Treppe, der Sturz von einer Schaukel, ein Zusammenstoss mit dem Velo. Je nach dem, wann der Unfall passiert, wird ein Milchzahn oder bleibender Zahn verletzt. Sch\u00e4den sind nicht immer auf Anhieb sichtbar. Ein Zahntrauma kann auch den Kieferknochen oder das Zahnfleisch betreffen.
